"NACE must prepare for emerging challenges like technological advancements, by offering tailored training and fostering partnerships. Additionally, staying attuned to shifting consumer preferences is vital, necessitating education on sustainability, diversity, and experiential marketing. Adapting swiftly will ensure members remain competitive in the evolving hospitality landscape."

What has motivated you to volunteer as a NACE leader, and what motivates you run for National Board service?

"Volunteering as a NACE leader stems from my belief in giving back to the industry. NACE has shaped my career, motivating me to contribute my skills. Running for National Board service is driven by a desire to make a broader impact, shaping NACE's direction,and ensuring continued success in serving members."

What are two key emerging opportunities/challenges that our association faces and how can NACE best be prepared to address them?

"Our priorities moving forward should target membership growth and retention, as well as the replenishment of our financial reserves. We've made great strides in this over the last year, but we can't let our foot off the gas. We only as strong as our ability to weather adversity through preparation."

What has motivated you to volunteer as a NACE leader, and what motivates you run for National Board service?

"The events industry is my passion and I believe that we are stronger when we collaborate together to champion the interests of our members and our communities. NACE has been instrumental in my own career growth and it is an honor for me to be part of our association's leadership."

What are two key emerging opportunities/challenges that our association faces and how can NACE best be prepared to address them?

"Membership and Volunteerism. Event professionals who became disengaged throughout the pandemic are harder to be compelled to become a member again. Volunteers are not easy to come by. We must engage a new generation and show them the value of association volunteerism."

What has motivated you to volunteer as a NACE leader, and what motivates you run for National Board service?

"I'm motivated to give back to an association that has given so much to me, both professionally and personally. I am dedicated to continue to serve through National presidency, for as long as our membership will have me."

What are two key emerging opportunities/challenges that our association faces and how can NACE best be prepared to address them?

"One is our students. We need to allocate time and resources to servicing this group and learning how we can integrate them seamlessly into our local chapters.

Another is that the idea of networking and education has changed. We need to figure out how to create meaningful and impactful communities within our local chapters."

What has motivated you to volunteer as a NACE leader, and what motivates you run for National Board service?

"NACE normalizes the crazy of this industry. It is the reason I have not burned out in this industry and one of the largest factors of my success. I feel passionate in helping create a sustainable association that is serving not just me, but the next generation of industry professionals."

"NACE has an opportunity to increase membership by engaging the younger generation through volunteerism, allowing NACE to strategically position itself for future success. However, declining interest in in-person gatherings presents a challenge as many seek to minimize face-to-face interactions and do not see value in attending meetings and industry events."

What has motivated you to volunteer as a NACE leader, and what motivates you run for National Board service?

"Motivated by a decade of rewarding service as a NACE leader, I volunteer to give back to the community that has supported my personal and professional growth. I am driven to make a meaningful impact on the industry and support the younger generation, motivating me to pursue National Board service."

What has motivated you to volunteer as a NACE leader, and what motivates you run for National Board service?

"My journey in the events industry has been shaped by the dedicated professionals I've encountered, many of whom were NACE members. Serving as a NACE leader allows me to leverage my experience and insights to influence the industry positively, fostering growth and innovation at a larger scale."

"One is remaining an essential resource when event industry professionals have so much access to other materials and associations. I really think our new CPCE materials provide a great opportunity.

Another is continued DEI efforts and perspectives to maintain our strong, vibrant community."

What has motivated you to volunteer as a NACE leader, and what motivates you run for National Board service?

"Having previously been the NACE National President, I miss the level of involvement being on the National Board entails. I would truly appreciate additional opportunities to help guide the association strategically and thoughtfully, and I believe my experience and knowledge would be assets."

"I'm motivated by my passion for NACE and its industry. Volunteering allows me to give back and nurture emerging talent. Running for the National Board is driven by my desire to contribute to the organization's growth and influence, advancing its legacy and impact on a national scale."
