The Chapter Leader Circle of Giving Program
About the Program
The goal of the Chapter Leader Circle of Giving program is to help chapters with financial need send leaders to the Evolve Leadership Conference. Evolve is an essential conference that helps leaders build and grow successful chapters. The program fosters connections, collaboration, and shared success within the Chapter Leader community.
This program was thought of by the CLC mentors as a way to continue build and support the local leaders who make NACE successful. The program facilitates chapter-to-chapter giving and support, connecting disadvantaged chapters with thriving chapters with the means to contribute. The program was “beta tested” in 2024 and is now being offered on a larger scope.
How Does it Work?
Chapters can be identified by CLC mentors or by self-nomination to be a recipient chapter and receive support for sending a leader to Evolve. Highly successful and financially strong chapters will have the option to be a donor chapter and provide attendance support.
Eligibility Criteria for Recipient Chapters
Chapters are eligible if they meet at least one of the following requirements:
- Chapters with limited financial means and total financial assets (checking, savings or investment accounts) under $3500.
- Chapters who have experienced financial hardship as identified by the CLC Director and Chair.
- Chapters with fewer than 20 members.
- Newly chartered chapters, chapters in formation, or chapters in a revitalization or intervention Plan.
All eligible chapters must complete the application form and present a valid case for the scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria for Donor Chapters
Chapters with a financial surplus, or that can assist with airline miles, hotel stays or other travel benefits, are eligible to become a donor. Cash donations should be expected to be between $250 and $1000. Donor chapters must also be willing to connect with recipient chapters during and after the conference to support and share learnings. The CLC Director and the CLC Chair will determine which chapters are eligible to give.
Donors will be recognized at the Evolve and Experience Conferences for their chapters for leadership and long-term impact they are helping create. In addition, these chapters will have the opportunity to emerge as a mentor for the recipient chapter and create stronger ties across chapters.

Timeline
- October 15– Recipient and Donor Applications close for review and approval
- October 30 – Recipients and donors are notified, and the national headquarters will facilitate collection of funds from donor chapters
- November 12 – Funds are distributed to donor chapters and registration and/or travel is booked.
- 2 Weeks after Evolve 2026 - Conference report due to CLC Director & Chair.
- 6 months after Evolve 2026 - Update on recipient chapter’s progress via CLC.
- 12 months after Evolve 2026- Update on recipient chapter’s progress via CLC.
