Salt Lake City Launches New Chapter of NACE

The catering and events community in Salt Lake City is set to grow with the official launch of the Salt Lake City Chapter of the National Association for Catering and Events (NACE). This new chapter will offer local professionals a vibrant community for networking, education, and career development, helping to elevate the industry in Utah and beyond.

The Salt Lake City chapter of NACE is dedicated to providing event planners, caterers, venues, and other event professionals with access to the full range of NACE’s educational programs, resources, and events. The chapter is designed to foster collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and support among local event professionals, enhancing both individual careers and the local events landscape.

“We are incredibly excited to be launching the first NACE chapter in Utah. This is a monumental milestone, not just for the local catering and events community, but for Utah as a whole,” said Bailee George, President of the Salt Lake City Chapter. “The establishment of NACE SLC is a testament to the growth and vibrancy of the events industry here in Utah. It speaks volumes about the exciting opportunities available, and we’re proud to be part of this transformative moment for our state’s growing event scene.”

Inaugural Event – Après Ski Soirée To kick off the launch, the Salt Lake City chapter will host its first event, the Après Ski Soirée, on January 14, 2025, at The Grand America Hotel from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The event promises an alpine-inspired evening of networking, food, drinks, and fun, providing attendees with the perfect opportunity to meet fellow industry professionals and learn more about the many benefits of becoming a NACE member.

Attendees can expect to meet local leaders in the catering and events space, including planners, caterers, venue managers, florists, and other suppliers, all while celebrating the chapter’s formation and the exciting opportunities ahead.
