NACE Orlando Chapter names Jazmin Silva as Diversity and Inclusion Ambassador

ORLANDO, Florida - The National Association for Catering and Events (NACE) Orlando Chapter names Jazmin Silva, of Our DJ Rocks, as the Diversity and Inclusion Ambassador. 

“We are passionate about making sure NACE Orlando always feels welcoming. Because of that, we are committed to developing and supporting a robustly diverse, equitable, and inclusive community, and we are so excited to have created this role to help us to continue working towards a better world,” says Kristin Hubbard, Communications Director, NACE Orlando.

Through leadership, Jazmin Silva’s main focus in this new role will be to act as an ambassador for underrepresented groups and make sure all voices are heard within the organization, including implementing inclusion programs, training, and education.

“I feel honored to be given this responsibility, and I’m looking forward to seeing NACE grow,”
says Jazmin. 

NACE is the oldest and largest professional association that addresses all aspects of the catering industry. Through the collective efforts of members, local chapters, committees, and the Foundation of NACE, NACE is at the forefront of the issues that directly affect you and your business.

Jazmin is also a full-time DJ and an event content creator with Our DJ Rocks in Orlando, FL, and graduated from the University of Central Florida’s Rosen College of Hospitality Management with a Bachelor’s Degree in Event Management in 2021.

“As a chapter and a community, it is important that we strive to become better leaders and educators in this industry and that includes through our DEI efforts.
