PNTA’s support of Make-A-Wish Alaska & Washington was long standing prior to the Covid-19 pandemic. Once the pandemic restricted in-person gatherings in 2020, PNTA and MAW’s relationship deepened significantly as PNTA offered a compelling 100% virtual fundraising option to be broadcast live from PNTA’s production studio. Together with the charity’s story telling, generous supporters, and PNTA’s technical production capabilities, the organization was able to host both a virtual event but allow a small group of staff and volunteers to attend the filming which exceeded fundraising goals.
