This DELICIOUS culinary adventure featuring local restaurants, caterers and bakeries let YOU decide who wins the title of Best Tasty Bite of the South!
Top Chefs from across the area gathered at Hotel Fontenot New Orleans on Thursday, August 14, 2025, to vie for the titles of Best Tasty Bite.
Our panel of judges included Greg Reggio of Taste Buds Management, Shelby Latino from FOX 8's NOLA Now, Tamsy Kambi of TamLovesToEat, Poppy Tooker of Louisiana Eats! radio show and podcast, and Henry Heaton at American Cancer Society and Co-Founder and ACS Staff Partner to Shuck Cancer New Orleans.
In addition to local celebrity judges, guests cast their vote for their favorites in the People's Choice competition. The winners were named as “Best Tasty Bite”, “Best Dessert” and “Best Presentation”.
Tickets included over 25 tasty bites from all participating restaurants, a full open bar, LIVE entertainment by DAT BAND, VIP access, and so much more!!!
Up to 50% of the event’s proceeds were donated to Shuck Cancer, a local event to support Access to Care Grant Program and the American Cancer Society.
A staycation Stay and Play hotel rate was offered by Hotel Fontenot!
A night cap continued with live music from Da Lovebirds in the Peacock Room.
