Year-Round Committees

  • Fundraising and Community Service Committee - This committee helps plan and execute initiatives that support the Chapter's financial goals and give back to the community. Members assist with organizing fundraising activities while building relationships within the Houston hospitality community. Committee members also help coordinate community service opportunities and collaborate with sponsors to maximize support. Your involvement ensures we can continue delivering impactful programs while making a positive difference in the Houston area.

  • Marketing Committee - The Marketing Committee supports the Chapter's promotional efforts to ensure effective communication with members and the broader community. As a committee member, you'll assist the committee lead with creating social media content, updating the Chapter's website, and design graphics for Chapter events and initiatives. This committee focuses on building excitement for our programs and enhancing member engagement through consistent, creative communication.

  • Programs Committee - The Programs Committee is responsible for supporting event planning by reaching out to vendors for sponsorships, assisting with timelines and contributing to creative decisions and event design. Committee members will help with event setup and be on-site to ensure everything runs smoothly. Flexibility and teamwork are key, as members may step in to assist where needed and provide hands-on support during the event. The goal is to ensure a seamless, memorable experience for all attendees. Your contributions will help ensure our programs reflect the interests and needs of our membership.

  • Hospitality Ambassador Committee - The Hospitality Ambassadors are dedicated to creating a warm and inclusive environment for new and prospective members. Our mission is to be the friendly faces that make every individual feel immediately welcomed and valued. Through personal connections and genuine support, we aim to ensure that every visitor and new member feels a sense of belonging, is encouraged to engage in networking and is excited to be part of the NACE community from day one. These individuals would help with sending emails to new members to invite them to upcoming meetings, help with calling/texting to encourage members to attend key programming meetings (one per quarter), help with facilitating Member Spotlights and Member Testimonials and will be a key decision maker for all Membership Perk offerings.

  • Awards Gala Committee (Fall) - The Awards Gala Committee is responsible for planning the Chapter's premier annual fundraiser. Members will work with the committee lead on tasks such as theme selection, event logistics and sponsor coordination. Your efforts will help make this memorable evening a celebration of excellence and camaraderie.
