Vince DeFinis Scholarship Program
The Vince DeFinis scholarship program was created in honor of a founder of the first chapter of the National Association for Catering and Events (NACE) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Vincent DeFinis, CPCE. Undergraduate students pursuing a degree in hospitality or a closely-related field will be awarded scholarships by the Foundation of NACE. The winner will be selected at the Experience conference from the 2014 Foundation of NACE scholarship winners. The scholarship includes registration to attend the conference, hotel accommodations and a complimentary NACE student membership. The monetary amount for scholarship awards are:
$10,000 Vince DeFinis Scholarship Award

$2,500 Foundation Scholarship Awards
Timothy S Y Lam and Patti J Shock Scholarships
The Foundation of NACE will award scholarships to the Meeting and Event Catering Certificate program (online or in-person) at The International School of Hospitality (TISOH). The scholarship covers the cost of tuition and fees (excludes the textbook) for the spring/fall (LAM) and summer (Shock) sessions.This course is suitable for both catering career newcomers and transitioners. Meeting and event professionals seeking to build on or fill gaps in their knowledge base may also want to apply. No prior experience or education in this field is required.
Richard Suttman Fund
This scholarship is open to NACE members interested in earning their certification as a Certified Professional in Catering and Events (CPCE). The Suttman fund was created to support individuals who need financial support in order to pursue certification.
Faculty Advisor Scholarship
The faculty advisor scholarship will be awarded to a faculty member in a hospitality or closely-related field to attend the Experience conference. The scholarship includes registration to attend the conference and hotel accommodations.
