As I take over as president of the Foundation for the National Association for Catering and Events this May, I must give thanks to the board of trustees for their support and guidance to help move the Foundation forward. I personally would like to recognize and thank our past president Mr. Troy Conklin for his dedication, perseverance and vision along with putting the "house in order" financially and strategically over the past few years. I have very big shoes to fill and along with the help of the new and continuing Board of Trustees we will continue Troy's vision and mission of Educating Today, Discovering Tomorrow and Community Always.

The NACE Experience! Conference and Expo is coming up in July. And of course the Foundation will be recognizing all of our donors at our annual reception on Sunday,  July 14 after the Opening Reception. Stay tuned and buy your tickets - it's a great way to recognize those who have given and for you to have an opportunity to become a donor and support the Foundation.

There will be exciting things in the near future with the Foundation of NACE while at Experience, as we will be announcing this year's $10,000 Vince DeFinis Scholarship Award winner and the other $2,500 scholarship award winners. I will also be introducing all of you to the wonderfully committed Board of Trustees that will continue to move the Foundation forward along with recognizing trustees that have served for the past 2 years.
